Thank you for the opportunity to run for the VYSA board of directors –I appreciate consideration for your vote.

VYSA offers an exceptional alternative to other clubs in our area as a grass root, kids first, local club demonstrating that the greater good of teamwork is more important than individual accolades. As VYSA’s enrollment rapidly grows, the demands and expectations placed on our program continues to rise. This is an exciting time, but it will require additional planning and resources to ensure the successful management and expansion of soccer programming members are seeking.

My business leadership experience can provide the necessary planning and decision-making skills required to navigate our path forward. Seeking input from others, reviewing all viable alternatives before issuing guidance, and always believing we can improve upon past accomplishments are the cornerstones of my philosophy.

Priorities for VYSA – Planning to support growth, formalize club coaching philosophy and guidelines by age, coach retention and recruitment, improve tryout process, grow winter programming options, expansion of fundraising.

Family Background: My wife Brenda and I are 16-year residents of Holmen after both growing up in the area. I have been in the energy industry for 24 years and currently lead HTP Energy, a Mathy company. We have two boys, Charlie (10) and Ryan (13), and two beloved dogs Hank (lab) and Norman (cockapoo). Charlie plays on the VYSA 12U team. Brenda volunteers for VYSA assisting with graphic design projects.
